OPI Texas Collection review
Everything is bigger in Texas and this statement holds true when talking about OPI’s Texas Collection. The Texas Collection by OPI is massive and there really is a color for everyone. Fortunately, there aren’t just four colors in the Texas Collection like with the Katy Perry collection. There are twelve colors in the OPI Texas Collection, with six being jelly finishes and the other six being regular finishes. So, what is my review of the OPI Texas Collection?
I absolutely loved the six “regular” colors. I thought that they were all beautiful. Out of the six “regular” colors, the one that I like the best was I Vant to Be A-lone Star. I thought that this pale blue polish was so pretty. It also had a slight shimmer to it, which I fell in love it. I think that this color is really wearable and I could see myself wearing it with whites and blacks. I know that this nail color would look so cute with a white dress or even a white shirt and dark blue jeans shorts.
As for the sorbet or jelly finishes, I really didn’t like them. I know that there are some people that like jelly finishes, but I do not like them at all. For some reason, I just don’t like having that finish on my nails. As for the colors of the sorbet polishes, I thought that they were alright, but they are very bright. Just be aware that they are bright in the bottle and they are just as bright on your nails. Also, I didn’t think that OPI had a very large range of colors for the jelly polishes. It was mostly reds and pinks, with one orange.
Overall, I think that the Texas Collection by OPI has a color for everybody. If you like jelly finishes, you will be happy. But, the Texas Collection still gives non-jelly fans some good colors to wear. As I already mentioned, I Vant to Be A-lone Star is my favorite and I will be wearing it for months to come. This color does not look very good in the bottle, but it looks wonderful on your nails.
