NARS Sexual Healing Lipstick review

I always like getting new lipsticks because they are a wonderful way to tie a look together. For day to day looks, pink and nude shades seem to work the best for me. However, sometimes I do like to get other colors. One color that I bought from the NARS counter a few days ago is called Sexual Healing. This lipstick is pink, but it has a shimmer to it. Most of the pink lipsticks that I have do not have any shimmer to them, which is why this one is unique. So, what is my NARS Sexual Healing Lipstick review?

While Sexual Healing does have good color, I have to say that there is a little too much shimmer for me. I do not like silver shimmer in lipsticks and Sexual Healing has a lot of it. Because of all the shimmer that it has, Sexual Healing does not look good on me as an everyday look. However, the color does look nice at night. I think that the formula for Sexual Healing is a little drying, but that is most likely because of the shimmer. Since this lipstick already has so much shine, I never wear any lip gloss over it.

NARS Sexual Healing is a good frosty pink lipstick. Even though I do not think it is an everyday color, it is good for nighttime. Sexual Healing is very opaque and I found that it was better if I just lightly dabbed it on my lips. This way, I would not get too much color on my lips. I do not know if I would buy this lipstick again because it is very expensive and I do not use it that much. However, the color does look good for the right occasion.
