NARS Senorita Lipstick review

The last few months I have been trying to expand on colors of lipsticks that I wear. I usually wear a nude lipstick everyday, but lately I have wanted to start wearing a darker rose color. One of my friends wears a rose shade lipstick everyday and it looks really pretty. A few days ago I went to the NARS counter and bought a lipstick called Senorita, which is the color my friend told me she wears. So, what’s my NARS Senorita lipstick review?

NARS Senorita has become one of my favorite everyday lipsticks to wear. The main reason that I like to wear NARS Senorita is because the of the good color and shimmer that it gives my lips. This is a sheer rose lipstick with shimmer. Even though it looks very opaque in the tube, it is much more subtle once you put it on your lips. Also, the shimmer in the tube looks like it would be too much, but it adds just the right amount once it is on your lips. The color of Senorita is definitely darker than the nude shades that I usually wear, but it’s a good change.

NARS Senorita is expensive at twenty four dollars a tube, but since this lipstick is so wearable the price is worth it. This lipstick seems to give my lips the perfect amount of color and I don’t even have to wear a lip gloss with it during the day time. However if you were going out at night and you wanted more shine, a lip gloss would look good. I am glad that I gave Senorita a chance because it has become on of my favorite lipsticks. It is definitely not in my normal color range, but I like this shade.
